Our apartment is not within walking distance to the BTS (sky train), so every morning we walk out to the main street and catch a ride on a motorcycle taxi (about 75 cents each). During the morning rush hour, it is hard to find an empty taxi (car) and even if we do, we get stuck in traffic. The British International School is across the street, so scores of school vans transporting students clog the road.
On Friday morning, I did not realize Keith took his video camera along on the ride! I wondered why he wanted me to hop on a cycle first....until he passed me, filming all the while. Here's the video of parts of the short trip to the BTS station.
(P.S. I am wearing jeans NOT because the weather is in any way chilly, but because our school cranks up the AC.)
